Gary Friedmann, a Democrat from Bar Harbor. He has served in the state legislature since being elected in November 2024.

Friedmann has served on the Bar Harbor Town Council since 2015 and has played a significant role in local and statewide climate initiatives such as co-founding A Climate to Thrive, Maine Climate Action NOW and Our Power.
