CURRENT REPRESENTATIVE:

Victoria Doudera, a Democrat from Camden. Rep. Doudera is a real estate agent and author, and has served in the state legislature since being elected in November 2018.

Rep. Doudera is the author of nine books. A former innkeeper, she now works as a realtor, a job she credits with honing her skills of negotiation and compromise. Rep. Doudera is a past president and current board member of Midcoast Habitat For Humanity. She also served as an officer with the Camden Conservation Commission and is an active member of the First Congregational Church of Camden.

Rep. Doudera serves on the environment and natural resources committee which covers air and water quality; natural resource protection; site location of development laws, shoreland zoning, subdivisions and growth management; management and disposal of solid, hazardous, biomedical and special wastes; returnable containers; hydropower and dams; waste-to-energy facilities; mining; wind energy development; and general environmental policy, including oversight of the Department of Environmental Protection.

Rep. Doudera also serves on the marine resources committee which covers the Department of Marine Resources; Marine Patrol; commercial and recreational marine fisheries management, licensing and enforcement; marine science and research; shellfish sanitation and management; and aquaculture.
