CURRENT REPRESENTATIVE:

Daniel Shagoury, a Democrat from Hallowell. Rep. Shagoury is retired and has served in the state legislature since being elected in November 2022.

Rep. Shagoury worked as a legislative aide in the State House for 19 years before recently retiring. An active community member, he is in his 13th year of service on the Board of the Hubbard Free Library. Previously, he served nine years on the SAD 16 School Board as a representative for Hallowell and eight years on the board of directors for the nonprofit Consumers for Affordable Health Care.
