Elizabeth Caruso, a Republican from Caratunk. Rep. Caruso has served in the state legislature since being elected in November 2024.

Rep. Caruso currently serves as the Somerset County Broadband Director for Somerset Economic Development Corporation and in conjunction with the Maine Connectivity Authority, she plays a vital role in advancing broadband access and digital equity for rural communities. Additionally, she holds the elected position of First Selectman for the Town of Caratunk. Her background also includes service as an industrial engineer, ergonomic engineering consultant and small business owner. She previously owned a small business that specialized in rafting, lodging and outfitting. She is a member of the Maine Municipal Association’s Legislative Policy Committee, the Sportsman Alliance of Maine, and is on the Board of Directors of Old Canada Road.
