CURRENT REPRESENTATIVE:
Kristen Cloutier, a Democrat from Lewiston. Rep. Cloutier has served in the state legislature since being elected in November 2018.

Prior to her time in the Legislature, she was the mayor and city council president of Lewiston, representing Ward 5. Rep. Cloutier is a class of 2015 alumnae of Emerge Maine, and in 2017 she was awarded their Rising Star Award for her mentorship and support of other women running for elected office. That same year, she was recognized as a Woman of Excellence by the National Foundation of Women Legislators for her work on the Lewiston City Council. In 2019, she was honored with the YWCA of Central Maine’s Lee Young Leadership Award in recognition of her civic, organizational and community leadership. More recently, she was selected for the Council of State Government’s 2022 Henry Toll Fellowship.
A lifelong resident of Lewiston, Rep. Cloutier is actively involved in the Lewiston-Auburn community, currently serving as a member of the Community Concepts Board of Directors and the Lewiston-Auburn Railroad Board of Directors.
Rep. Cloutier serves on the appropriations and financial affairs committee and as chairwoman of the taxation committee.
