CURRENT REPRESENTATIVE:

Mark Lawrence, a Democrat from Eliot. Sen. Lawrence has served in the state legislature since recently being elected in November 2016. He served in the House from 1989-1992 and from 2017-2018, as well as the Senate from 1993-2000.

Sen. Lawrence is a practicing attorney with a distinguished career in public service. He served as York County District Attorney from 2003-2010 before opening a private practice in South Berwick. He is one of the founding members of the Laudholm Trust in Wells and has worked to secure funding for Land for Maine’s Future.

Sen. Lawrence serves on the Senate conduct and ethics committee and as chairman of the energy, utilities, and technology committee.
