Chasing Maine: The Epic Comeback

USM’s softball team was down in the last inning against nationally ranked Eastern Connecticut but pulled out the win, and in doing so, broke the school record for consecutive victories.

In a season that will be remembered for COVID protocols, the University of Southern Maine softball team set a school record with 15 straight wins earlier this year. The tie-breaking victory came against Eastern Connecticut, ranked No. 3 nationally.
