James Boyle, a Democrat from Gorham. Rep. Boyle is an environmental consultant and has recently served in the state legislature since being elected in November 2020, having also served in the Senate during the 126th Legislature.
Rep. Boyle began his career as a forester in the North Maine Woods before opening his first environmental consulting company in 1996. Over the years, he has owned several small businesses aimed at protecting the environment. Today, Rep. Boyle owns and operates Environmental Permitting and Inspection, LLC. He previously served on the Efficiency Maine Trust Board of Directors, on the board of the Presumpscot Regional Land Trust and as president of the Maine Association of Wetland Scientists.
