Daniel Sayre, a Democrat from Kennebunk. Rep. Sayre is a consultant and has served in the state legislature since being elected in November 2022.

Rep. Sayre had a 35-year career in book publishing in scientific and technical disciplines for professionals and college students. He served two terms as a Director of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) and chaired ASEE’s Corporate Member Council. Over the past two years, Sayre’s consulting firm, New World Associates, has led the Workforce Summit for Industry 4.0 in collaboration with the ASEE. Sayre recently served on the Town of Kennebunk Budget Board and was the Board’s liaison to RSU 21.
