Donald Ardell, a Republican from Monticello. Rep. Ardell is retired and has served in the state legislature since being elected in November 2022.

Rep. Ardell spent his career as a federal special agent and criminal investigator from 1996-2021. He worked in many different departments and agencies including the U.S. Immigration & Naturalization, U.S. Customs Service, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency Aroostook Task Force. From 2011-2013, Rep. Ardell was a Homeland Security Investigations Representative assigned to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
