Bridget Huber is a writer and radio producer who often reports on the environment, science, global health and food systems. Her work has appeared in outlets including The Lancet, Mother Jones, the Associated Press, NPR's Latino USA, The World, The Nation, The Washington Post and many others.
She is a graduate of UC Berkeley's journalism school, and was part of a small team that won a James Beard Award in 2025. She was raised in southern Maine and graduated from Bates College and The Salt Institute for Documentary Studies. After more than a decade living in the Bay Area and France she returned to Maine in 2021 and hasn't looked back. She lives in the midcoast with her family.
