Iselin Bratz is a news intern at The Maine Monitor and a student of journalism and political communications at Emerson College in Boston.

A proud Mainer from the midcoast region, Iselin is passionate about the vital role journalism plays in rural states, where accurate and factual reporting can have a profound impact.

At Emerson, Iselin serves as the news editor for the college newspaper, The Berkeley Beacon, where she has covered a wide range of topics, including the arrest of 118 protesters on campus last spring and the renowned Head of the Charles Regatta. Additionally, she contributes as a writer and researcher for The Round Room podcast, which delves into international news stories.
