Welcome to our Statehouse hub! We’ve built a page for every district in the Maine State Legislature and for the Passamaquoddy tribal representative. Each district’s page is designed to be a snapshot of everything you might want to know about your lawmakers: their background, their campaign finances, the committee(s) they serve on, the bills they’ve sponsored, the votes they’ve cast and how to get in touch with them.

These pages will also provide a snapshot of each district’s composition, including the number of actively registered voters and a breakdown of their party affiliation. On election night in November, each district’s page will display live election results.

You’ll find a table at the end of the district page listing bills sponsored by the lawmaker. Clicking on the bill ID provides a deeper look at the piece of legislation. You can also sign up for alerts on legislation you are interested in tracking.

Not sure which district you’re in? Input your address to find your elected representatives.

Legislative Coverage & Bill Search

This initiative has been made possible thanks to:

BillTrack50 and the Associated Press for providing the legislative tools and election results

AI Disclosure:

The bill summaries appearing on the district pages have been generated by Claude Haiku, an Artificial Intelligence model from Anthropic, which describes itself as an AI safety and research company.

BillTrack50, which has compiled the summaries, has extensively tested the accuracy of the information but does not guarantee that every summary is completely accurate and comprehensive. You should always read and rely on the bill text that is provided by the Maine Legislature, which is accessible by clicking on the Bill ID in the table. (A button to flag AI-generated errors to the BillTrack50 team is available on each bill page.)
